The Pozo del Gavilán is an impressive natural sinkhole where an unforgettable adventure begins. The experience includes an 82-meter rappel descent into a deep underground lagoon with intense blue waters reaching depths of over 30 meters. The incredible water clarity allows you to see the bottom from almost anywhere, creating a breathtaking setting beneath the earth’s surface.

This adventure includes a half-day training and practice session in Monterrey, Nuevo León, making it ideal for those looking to experience their first major vertical adventure safely and confidently.

In addition to the descent into Pozo del Gavilán, the trip also offers visits to other natural attractions in the region, including Laguna de Labradores, Cerro del Potosí —the highest mountain in Nuevo León— and the famous Puente de Dios.

The activity includes one kayak per group to explore and enjoy the lagoon from within, surrounded by towering rock walls and crystal-clear waters that make this one of the most spectacular natural destinations in Nuevo León.



Difficulty

Intermediate: this route is apt for people with little experience in hiking, the route involves walking in paths, between stones and can have down climbing. Although this can be your first adventure trip is necessary that you have the ability to move mountain terrain. All our routes includes rappel course. GOOD phisycal condition is required and no one with overweight will be admitted.

    • Groups

    Groups can be made of 5 people minimum. In case of not being able to form a group, you'll have to make reservations with a full payment of the tour and wait to be assigned to one of the groups formed by other people. If you can't be assigned, you'll be refunded. You may ask for VIP groups with no minimum persons and guides will be assigned exclusively for you including all meals, transportation from airport , cabins and hotel nights.
