Hydrophobia with lodging the night before

This tour is the best canyoneering 100% aquatic area with cliff jumping of all levels and fun rock slides, make this place unique in its class. Landscapes and the jumps are better than Matacanes and need to test your skills in rocky terrain and jumps downclimbing water before going here. 15 meters is the highest jump.

Season

Begin March 21st and it approximately ends on September 15th, depending on the rains and hurricanes. It can be suspended at any time according to river level. The river safety level is monitored daily by inhabitants of Potrero Redondo, Las Adjuntas and the State authorities.

Difficulty

Intermediate: this route is apt for people with little experience in hiking, the route involves walking in paths, between stones and can have down climbing. Although this can be your first adventure trip is necessary that you have the ability to move mountain terrain. All our routes includes rappel course. GOOD phisycal condition is required and no one with overweight will be admitted.

  • On trips with transportation, you'll need a sweater, windbreaker and a cap.

    • Groups

    Groups can be made 6 people minimum en closed dates, one person minimum in open groups. You can make Aldea Matacanes exclusive for you with a minimum of 35 persons, but is necesary to reseve and pay 2 months before the event.

    Food & Drinks

    Includes complete breakfast: Juice, Milk and cereal, Bread, Bisquets, Nutella, Peanut Butter and Jelly, we also have fresh and hot coffee*.

    Food is NOT included for the trip, we recommend you bring  energy bars
