Located inside the majestic La Estanzuela Park, Calabozo Canyon is the ultimate half-day thrill. This approximately 4-hour expedition immerses you in a spectacular natural environment, combining hiking, two technical rappels, and an exciting final cliff jump.

It is Monterrey's hidden gem—perfect for fit beginners looking for a challenge, as well as experienced canyoners short on time. Get your adrenaline fix without compromising your entire weekend!

What’s NOT Included?

  • Park Entrance Fee: $350 MXN per person (must be paid directly at the park entrance, strictly in cash).

  • Regular Rate (Groups of 4 to 5 people): $1,500 MXN per person.

  • GROUP PROMO! (6 or more people): $1,100 MXN per person. (Departure guaranteed with minimum group size)

What to Bring & Regulations

  • Clothing: Long-sleeve lycra shirt and athletic pants (yes, you will get fully wet!).

  • Footwear: Trail running shoes or hiking boots with excellent grip (no sandals, no thin water shoes).

  • For after the tour: A full change of clothes and a towel.

  • Hydration & Snacks: The park has strict food regulations. Visitors are only allowed to bring chocolates, energy bars, and water. We highly recommend bringing at least 2 liters of water per participant.

  • Jeans or heavy duty fabric short (long pants will be very heavy when wet)
  • Socks (two pairs can be used to tighten the shoe)
  • New tennis (no open shoes, this is to protect your feet inside the water)
  • Dry change of clothes for the end of the trip
  • On trips with transportation, you'll need a sweater, windbreaker and a cap.
    • Groups
    Groups can be made of 5 people minimum. In case of not being able to form a group, you'll have to make reservations with a full payment of the tour and wait to be assigned to one of the groups formed by other people. If you can't be assigned, you'll be refunded. You may ask for VIP groups with no minimum persons and guides will be assigned exclusively for you including all meals, transportation from airport , cabins and hotel nights.

    Beginners: this trip is for personas without any experience in outdoor activities. The route involves walking in paths, between stones and can have downclimbing. All our routes include sa rappel course. Low phisical condition is required and is a requirement not to have overweight.

    Each participant will be responsible of the gear provided, and will have to be carried in your own backpack when it is not in use.
    Checklist
    Just bring dry clothes for the end of the trip, is not permited to bring food into the park.

    Meeting point will at La Estanzuela Natural Park in Monterrey, NL. To arrive to this point from down-town Monterrey, take Eugenio Garza Sada Avenue to the south, to get to highway 40, passing Christus Hospital on your left take the next exit (to your right).
