Night in a tent with dinner on the starting point, in our peculiar Aldea in the middle of the forest.

The activity is a walk in the forest that leads us to a path down the first waterfall. It's rappels are unique and makes this place the best to admire the mountains from above with beautiful falls where you will have contact with all the fresh water rappels. SPECTACULAR! Canyoneering adventure, for people who like challenges and mountains.

Season

Begin March 21st and it approximately ends on September 15th, depending on the rains and hurricanes. It can be suspended at any time according to river level. The river safety level is monitored daily by inhabitants of Potrero Redondo, Las Adjuntas and the State authorities.

Difficulty

Beginners: this trip is for personas without any experience in outdoor activities. The route involves walking in paths, between stones and can have downclimbing. All our routes include sa rappel course. Low phisical condition is required and is a requirement not to have overweight.

Gear available


 1. 4x4 transportation in a safari style truck, open air vehicle full of fun and joy since the begining.

2. Cabins and camping area at baseline, Changing rooms, bathrooms, electricity, water, fresh hot coffee, restaurant and shop.

3. Professional canyoning gear for each participant: Harness, helmet, PFD and wet-suit
  4. Professional OCA certified guides with up top date courses of first aid and canyoning.

5. Pictures of the trip after fillin the poll. **if available
  6. Medical first aid kit for the trip in the mountain, recommended by the Mexican Red Cross.

    Groups can be made 6 people minimum en closed dates, one person minimum in open groups. You can make Aldea Matacanes exclusive for you with a minimum of 35 persons, but is necesary to reseve and pay 2 months before the event.

    Food & Drinks

    Includes complete breakfast: Juice, Milk and cereal, Bread, Bisquets, Nutella, Peanut Butter and Jelly, we also have fresh and hot coffee*.

    Food is NOT included for the trip, we recommend you bring  energy bars
